Family Fun Nights!

We have been blessed to have really great nurses here in the NICU and our sweet nurse over the weekend took the time to rearrange our room so that we would have space to put both recliners next to each other when we kangaroo instead of being across the room from each other.  This allowed us to take our first family picture!

She also let us put Anthony and Aryanna right next to each other on the same pillow.  This was the closest they’ve been since they were in the womb and it was so fun to see them play.  On Friday night Aryanna kept reaching for Anthony’s hair—it was so cute!

On Saturday and Sunday night they snuggled right in next to each other, held each other’s hands and were just so content.  It’s amazing how connected they are—even their heart rates and breathing were about the same while they were laying next to each other.  It melted mommy and daddy’s hearts to see them cuddling.

  10. I love seeing them together! Our girls seem to always have their heads together and I plan to have them sleep together as long as possible. I think twins have an amazing bond we, even as their mothers, will never quite understand. Cheers!

  11. I am so happy you were able to let Aryanna and Anthony touch each other. I'm sure they have missed each other; this will surely give them more motivation to eat and breathe and heal and grow strong. Beautiful pictures! Bless you, bless tha babies, and bless your nurses! Celia
