My heart is breaking for our friends as they find themselves in a very similar situation to ours just 3 months ago. We were thrilled when we found out our friends Joy (who Jose and I have done youth ministry with for years) and BJ were going to be having twins a few months after us. Little did we know we'd be sharing the preemie experience as well. They are having identical twin boys and they found out recently that Baby B wasn't growing as much as he should and today they found out that the blood flow in the umbilical cords is not good so they are going in today for a C-section. She is a little over 30 weeks. Please pray for a safe and smooth delivery and protection for their precious little boys. The NICU journey is not an easy one, but we also know that they'll see God move in miraculous ways as he continues to knit together their precious little ones.
***UPDATE: The twins are here. Logan weighs 2 pounds 12 ounces and Luke weighs 2 pounds 13 ounces. They're in the NICU and doing well. Please continue to pray for these precious miracles that they would grow and get strong day by day.
